A brief account of a life

Ellinor was only 37 years old when she passed away in the horrible, ugly disease also known as cancer. She left behind family, friends and a photographic treasure consisting of thousands of negatives.

Friends of Ellinor, Anna Bokström and Mette Johansen, began going through the material. It was a long and challenging process with many kill your darlings-moments. Nina Bacos later joined and through crowd funding they managed to finance a book that chronicled Ellinor’s life and artistry.

Compañeros stood for the art direction and layout. The book was awarded an honorable mention by Svenska Fotobokspriset in 2016.

There are two editions: an orange and a special pink edition where the profits go to Rosa Bandet.
